Description: NCWIT Counselors for Computing is offering this “School Counselors are Key Advocates for Access and Equity in Computing” workshop in partnership with CSforCA. Workshop participants will receive a C4C Resource Kit, action items, and engaging activities for students at all levels! Counselors for Computing (C4C) provides information and resources to help counselors join the front line of the computing conversation.

Celebrating CSEdWeek! The California Department of Education hosted a virtual kick-off event on Dec. 5th that highlighted each of the Winter of CS workshops. All educators and paraeducators, administrators, and counselors who are interested in computer science are welcome to join the Winter of CS workshops. Seasons of CS is funded by the California Department of Education and the Educator Workforce Investment Grant (EWIG). The Educator Workforce Investment Grant (EWIG) in Computer Science was awarded to UCLA and its CSforCA coalition, along with the CDE Foundation and Sacramento County Office of Education to implement Seasons of CS professional learning prgoram across California's Statewide System of Support.
